Job summary

Snowflake is seeking a Senior Solution Engineer to resolve complex customer problems and close large deals. You will partner with the sales team and channel partners to understand needs, strategize winning cycles, and deliver compelling value-based demonstrations.

You will work in a dynamic, fast-moving environment across business and technical contexts, engaging with executives and technical audiences, and supporting enterprise PoCs and implementations.

Qualifications

• 7-8 years of industry experience with at least 5 years in a pre-sales role.
• Excellent presenting skills to technical and executive audiences, able to present impromptu or via demos.
• Broad experience in large-scale database/data warehouse tech, ETL, analytics and cloud tech (Data Lake/ Data Mesh/ Data Fabric).
• Hands-on SQL, SQL analytics and Python experience.
• Ability to map customer business problems to Snowflake solutions.
• Ability to discover customer architecture and map to Snowflake Data Architecture.
• University degree in CS/Engineering/Math or related field; Masters/MBA a plus.
• Experience with GSIs (EY, Deloitte, Accenture) beneficial but not required.
• Travel approximately 30%.

Responsibilities

• Present Snowflake technology and vision to executives and technical contributors at prospects and customers.
• Demonstrate and communicate Snowflake value throughout the sales cycle from demo to PoC to design and implementation.
• Stay informed on competitive and complementary technologies and position Snowflake accordingly.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to improve Snowflake’s products and marketing.
