Job summary

Snowflake is seeking a Senior Solution Engineer based in the United States to solve customers’ complex problems and close large deals. You will partner with the sales team and channel partners to understand customer needs, strategize to win sales cycles, and deliver compelling value demonstrations and POCs.

You will thrive in a fast-moving environment, interfacing with executives and technical audiences alike while leading technical engagements from demo through implementation.

Qualifications

• 7-8 years of industry experience with at least 5 years in a pre-sales environment.
• Strong presenting skills to technical and executive audiences.
• Experience with large-scale Database/Data Warehouse, ETL, analytics and cloud tech (Data Lake/Data Mesh/Data Fabric).
• Hands-on expertise with SQL and Python.
• Ability to map customer problems to Snowflake solutions.
• Ability to map customer architectures to Snowflake Data Architecture.
• MSc in Data Science or MBA is a plus.
• GSIs experience is beneficial but not required.
• Travel about 30%.

Responsibilities

• Present Snowflake technology to executives and technical contributors at prospects and customers.
• Demonstrate and communicate Snowflake value throughout the sales cycle, from demo to POC to design/implementation.
• Stay current on competitive and complementary technologies and position Snowflake accordingly.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Marketing to improve Snowflake products and messaging.
