Job summary

Cloudera is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to lead the technical sales process for complex enterprise data projects. You will own demonstrations, tailor solutions with reference architectures, and work closely with Account Managers to illustrate value and drive deals.

The role requires 8+ years in pre-sales and deep experience with Big Data, cloud services (AWS/Azure/GCP), and data governance. Expect a collaborative, customer-centric environment with strong career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 8+ years in a pre-sales customer-facing role in the enterprise.
• Ability to create and deliver technical presentations and demos.
• Experience with cloud data platforms and modern data architectures.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical sales process from intro meetings through post-sales activities.
• Support customers by identifying new use cases for Cloudera's technology.
• Design solutions based on reference architectures to fit customer needs.
• Demonstrate Cloudera products to inspire customer action and buy-in.
• Partner with Account Managers to show value and drive sales.
• Present product roadmap and vision to stakeholders and executives.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure a single Cloudera voice.
• Advocate for customer needs to Product Management and Engineering.
• Engage in external events and evangelism (conferences, meetups, blogs).
