Job summary

Databricks is seeking an experienced pre-sales professional to partner with Account Executives in our Retail and CPG segment across large enterprise accounts. You will define and direct the technical strategy to drive adoption of ML & AI on the Databricks platform, working with customers to articulate business value and cultivate technical champions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in very large retail & CPG with >$1m ARR.
• 4+ years in a pre-sales capacity or supporting sales activity.
• Technical in big data, data science, and cloud.
• Ability in data-driven business transformation and driving change with data.
• 4+ years of design/implementation in big data tech (Hadoop/NoSQL/MPP/OLTP/OLAP) or end-to-end data science solutions.
• Production programming experience in Python, R, Scala, or Java.

Responsibilities

• You will work with 1-5 clients as the main technical voice for Databricks.
• Lead customers on a transformational journey, evaluating and adopting Databricks as part of their strategy.
• Implement the technical strategy in the account with a close understanding of the strategy.
• Build a movement of technical champions within the account.
• Align technical strategies around Databricks solutions.
• Provide structured mentorship for other team members.
