Job summary

Databricks Inc. seeks an experienced Solutions Architect for Retail, Travel & Hospitality to lead pre‑sales engagements with large enterprise accounts in the US.

You will articulate the business value of the Databricks platform, define technical strategy, and guide customers from evaluation to adoption with ML/AI use cases in Retail/CPG. Working with Account Executives and customer teams, you will shape proofs of concept, mentor teammates, and ensure technical outcomes align with strategic goals

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Retail/CPG with large ARR experience.
• 3+ years in pre-sales or supporting sales activity.
• Technical in big data, data science and cloud.
• Data-driven business transformation experience.
• 3+ years design/implementation in Hadoop, NoSQL, MPP, OLTP/OLAP or data science lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Main technical voice for up to 9 clients within Databricks.
• Lead customers on a transformational journey adopting Databricks.
• Implement technical strategy in the account with team support.
• Build a movement of technical champions within the account.
• Align technical strategies with Databricks solutions and goals.
• Provide mentorship for other team members.
