Job summary

Databricks is seeking an experienced pre-sales professional to partner with Account Executives in Travel & Hospitality within Retail SA. You will define and direct the technical strategy for large enterprise accounts, driving adoption of ML and AI and delivering value through Databricks solutions.

You will collaborate with hands-on teams to build proofs of concept, qualify opportunities, and mentor others while maintaining a strong focus on data-driven transformation for retail and CPG clients.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Retail/CPG with >$1m ARR.
• 3+ years in pre-sales or supporting sales.
• Technical in big data, data science and cloud.
• Experience with design and implementation in big data technologies.
• Production programming in Python, R, Scala or Java.
• Nice-to-have: Databricks Certification.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the main technical voice for up to 9 clients.
• Lead customers on a transformational journey adopting Databricks.
• Implement the technical strategy in the account.
• Build a movement of technical champions within the account.
• Align technical strategies around Databricks solutions.
• Mentor other team members.
