Job summary

Databricks is seeking experienced pre-sales professionals to lead the technical strategy for Travel & Hospitality within Retail SA, guiding large enterprises toward data-driven transformation with ML and AI.

As the main technical voice, you will work with an AE, help customers evaluate and adopt Databricks, build champions, and mentor team members while translating business needs into scalable data solutions.

Qualifications

• 6+ years experience selling to very large enterprise customers (> $1m ARR) in Retail/CPG.
• 4+ years in pre-sales or supporting sales activity.
• Strong background in big data, data science and cloud.
• Experience designing and implementing big data or data science solutions.

Responsibilities

• You will be the main technical voice for up to 9 clients within Databricks.
• You will define and direct the technical strategy to drive adoption of Databricks.
• You will guide the implementation of the technical strategy in each account.
• Build technical champions and align strategies around Databricks solutions.
• Provide mentorship to other team members.
