Job summary

Databricks is seeking an experienced Retail and CPG Senior Pre-Sales professional to define and direct the technical strategy for large enterprise accounts. You will collaborate with the AE, lead ML/AI adoption, and leverage your value-selling and technical leadership to maximize success across targeted use cases in Retail and CPG.

You will serve as the main technical voice for 1–5 clients, guiding transformational journeys, aligning Databricks solutions with business goals, and mentoring

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in large Retail/CPG accounts (> $1m ARR).
• 4+ years in pre-sales or supporting sales activities.
• Strong technical background in big data, data science, and cloud.
• Experience with data-driven business transformation.
• 4+ years design/implementation in Hadoop, NoSQL, MPP, OLTP/OLAP or full data science lifecycle.
• Production programming in Python, R, Scala, or Java.
• Databricks Certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• You will work with 1-5 clients as the main technical voice for Databricks.
• You will lead customers on a transformational journey, helping them evaluate and adopt Databricks as part of their strategy.
• You will implement the technical strategy in the account, with a close understanding of the strategy.
• Build a movement of technical champions within the account.
• Align technical strategies around Databricks solutions.
• You will provide structured mentorship for other team members.
