Job summary

Databricks is seeking an experienced pre-sales professional to drive technical strategy for large Retail and CPG accounts. You will collaborate with Account Executives and a hands-on team to demonstrate ML/AI capabilities and guide customers through a data-driven transformation.

You will advocate for Databricks solutions, mentor peers, and help evolve production data systems to meet complex customer needs in a high-impact role across strategic accounts.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in very large Retail/CPG accounts (> $1m ARR).
• 4+ years in pre-sales or supporting sales activity.
• Technical in big data, data science and cloud.
• 4+ years design/implementation in big data tech (Hadoop, NoSQL, MPP, OLTP/OLAP).
• Production programming in Python, R, Scala or Java.

Responsibilities

• Be the main technical voice for 1-5 clients.
• Lead customers on a transformational journey to adopt Databricks solutions.
• Implement the technical strategy in the account.
• Build a movement of technical champions within the account.
• Align technical strategies around Databricks solutions.
• Mentor other team members.
