Job summary

Motorola Solutions in the United States seeks a Solutions Architect to define and deliver technical solutions for the Command Center suite. You will collaborate with Project Managers, Application Specialists, and customers to ensure successful deployments. The role requires strong communication, travel up to 25%, and compliance with CJIS security policies.

Legal work authorization in the U.S. is required and sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate's degree in a technical or engineering field.
• 6+ years of technical or engineering experience; OR 8+ years delivering Public Safety projects.
• Excellent presentation skills, highly skilled with drawing/diagramming tools (Visio).
• Strong verbal and written English communication.

Responsibilities

• Understand requirements, architecture, and operations of the overall solution with Pre/Post-Sales.
• Lead and defend technical and programmatic decisions; address customer expectation gaps.
• Apply change management and systems engineering with customer and engineering teams.
• Support project management by identifying technical risks and mitigation options.
• Represent the technical side in meetings with customers, third parties, and internal teams.
