Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a qualified Solutions Architect in the United States to design and deliver technical solutions within the Command Center suite. You will collaborate with Project Managers, Application Specialists, developers, and clients to ensure successful deployments.

The role requires a technical degree or equivalent and 6+ years of engineering experience, plus strong presentation and diagramming abilities. Occasional travel (~25%) is expected while CJIS security policies apply.

Qualifications

• High-level presentation and communication skills required.
• Strong diagramming and visualization skills (e.g., MS Visio) expected.
• Willingness to travel ~25% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Understand requirements, concepts of operation, and architecture of the overall solution.
• Lead and defend the project's technical and programmatic decisions.
• Apply change management and systems engineering processes with customers and engineering teams.
• Assist Project Management in developing and managing costs and schedules by identifying technical risks and mitigations.
• Participate as the technical counterpart to the Project Manager in meetings with third-party, customer, and internal teams.
