Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Solutions Architect to design and integrate complex public safety solutions. The role collaborates with project managers, application specialists, and customers to ensure successful deployments and compliance with CJIS security requirements.

Requirements include a technical degree and 6+ years of engineering or public safety project delivery experience. Travel is approx. 25% with potential remote work elements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science or an Associate's Degree in a technical or engineering field is preferred.
• Excellent presentation skills and ability to diagram complex concepts.
• Strong verbal and written English communication; willingness to travel ~25%.

Responsibilities

• Integrate programmatic, technical, systems engineering, business, and personnel elements of a project.
• Understand requirements, align with Pre and Post-Sales teams, and customer needs.
• Lead and defend technical and programmatic decisions with PM collaboration.
• Apply change management and systems engineering processes with customers and engineers.
• Assist PM with costs, schedules, and risk mitigation for deployment.
• Act as technical counterpart to PM in meetings with third parties and customers.
