Job summary

Motorola Solutions in Little Rock, AR seeks an experienced Solutions Architect to lead complex deployments for public safety and enterprise customers. You will define requirements, architect solutions, and collaborate with Project Managers, Application Specialists, and customers to ensure successful outcomes.

Ideal candidates possess a technical degree or equivalent with 6+ years in engineering/technical roles (8+ without a degree), strong Visio skills, and excellent English communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Associate in a technical/engineering field with 6+ years of technical/engineering experience, or 8+ years delivering public safety projects.
• Strong presentation skills and ability to diagram complex architectures.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication; ability to Travel ~25%.

Responsibilities

• Lead integration of programmatic, technical, systems engineering, and project elements.
• Understand requirements, architecture, and align with Pre/Post-Sales teams.
• Defend technical and programmatic decisions and mitigate mismatches.
• Apply change management and systems engineering processes with customers and engineers.
• Support cost/schedule development and identify risks with mitigation options.
• Act as technical counterpart in customer, third-party, and internal meetings.
