Job summary

CAI is seeking a Senior Solutions Consultant to act as a pre-sales technical architect and proposal writer for IT services. This fully remote role collaborates with business development, capture, delivery, and partners to convert client requirements into differentiated solutions across service management, cloud, and infrastructure.

Responsibilities include leading RFP responses, documenting end-to-end architectures, and preparing executive proposals.

Qualifications

• Experience as a pre-sales technical engineer or architect and in proposal development.
• Ability to move between technical design and executive storytelling.
• Working knowledge of ITSM and ITIL, service desk operations, cloud and infrastructure.
• Collaboration across business development, capture, delivery, engineering and partners.
• Strong attention to detail, documenting assumptions and managing risks.
• Eligibility to work without employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Qualify opportunities and lead solution architecture for RFP and RFI responses.
• Design end-to-end solutions covering IT service management, ITIL processes, service desk operations, cloud, and networks.
• Develop solution strategies, work plans, implementation approaches, pricing assumptions and exec presentations.
• Write and edit technical narratives, solution overviews, and transition plans with capture teams.
• Facilitate solutioning workshops with delivery leaders and partners to shape differentiators.
• Identify assumptions, cost drivers, dependencies, and delivery risks; support client reviews.
