Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Manager, Solutions Architect to partner with customers, AWS Sales, and cross-functional teams to craft scalable cloud architectures and accelerate AWS service adoption.

You will drive revenue growth by supporting the insurance vertical within Financial Services and act as a trusted customer advocate. The role emphasizes strategic thinking, leadership of a high-performing team, and collaboration across sales and engineering to deliver resilient cloud

Qualifications

• 8+ years of enterprise IT application work including hands-on software development or DevOps engineering
• 2+ years architecting/operating solutions on cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP, OCI, etc.)
• 6+ years of technology solutions development and evangelising end-to-end roadmaps for IT transformations toward cloud computing
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Experience leading and growing teams of senior technology professionals, ideally in customer-facing roles

Responsibilities

• Serve as a leader for the SA team and a key member of the business development team
• Hire, enable, and develop an industry-leading team of solutions architects
• Build deep relationships with customers to become a trusted advisor for critical workloads and cloud adoption
• Support achievement of revenue objectives through adoption and migration of applications and services to AWS
• Educate customers on AWS value and participate in architectural discussions for successful cloud deployment
• Contribute to AWS internal and customer-facing publications to scale knowledge
• Act as a liaison between customers, service engineering, and support to address customer needs
