Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager to lead a team of Cloud Intelligence and Solutions Architects aligned to AWS field sales across the western and central United States, shaping strategies and enabling adoption of the AWS platform.

You will build strong executive relationships, mentor engineers, produce customer-facing guidance, and collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Services to drive innovative sales motions and roadmaps that differentiate AWS.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of managing technical, enterprise customer-facing resources or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of managing a technical team of solution architects, sales engineers or similar technical roles experience.
• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• Experience architecting/operating solutions on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of field-facing SMEs aligned to sales teams across the western/central United States.
• Remove barriers to cloud adoption and articulate AWS value to customers.
• Develop and share best practices, whitepapers, and guidance for customer engagements.
• Build relationships with decision makers to enable customers to become AWS advocates.
• Influence AWS roadmaps and sales motions through executive-level collaboration.
