Job summary

GitLab is seeking a Subject Matter Expert (SME) who will be the deepest technical voice for one product group. You will guide customers on high‑impact opportunities, working with Product and Engineering to translate requirements into roadmaps, PoVs, and scalable enablement assets.

You’ll specialize in one product group and collaborate with Account SAs to drive adoption, consumption, and successful production deployments across global teams in a remote-friendly environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in technical pre-sales or solutions architecture in enterprise software.
• Hands‑on expertise in one domain: app security testing, supply chain security, or compliance.
• Experience with scalable cloud/hybrid platforms and large CI/CD environments.
• Experience with AI‑assisted development and production deployments.

Responsibilities

• Act as the technical authority for your product group on prioritized opportunities from discovery to PoV evaluations.
• Lead technical deep dives, workshops, and executive briefings linking product capabilities to business outcomes.
• Design and improve standardized PoV templates with clear success criteria and content.
• Equip account teams for product launches with demos, playbooks, and reference stories.
• Mentor Account SAs and contribute to GitLab’s SME community.
