Job summary

GitLab is seeking a Staff Solutions Architect, AI Subject Matter Expert, to act as the deepest technical voice for a product group—driving decisions in security, platform, core DevSecOps, or AI domains. You’ll guide PoV evaluations, work with Product and Engineering, and help scale enabling assets across teams.

You’ll operate in a distributed, all‑remote environment in the United States, collaborating asynchronously across time zones.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in technical pre‑sales or solutions architecture.
• Ability to win tech decisions via structured PoC/PoV evaluations with clear criteria.
• Hands‑on experience with Git, CI/CD, containers, Kubernetes, and major cloud providers.

Responsibilities

• Be the technical authority for your product group on prioritized opportunities from discovery through PoV evaluations.
• Lead technical deep dives, workshops, and executive briefings linking product capabilities to business outcomes.
• Design standardized PoV templates with reusable content and criteria, ensuring alignment with the GitLab platform.
