Job summary

Pearce in Grants Pass, Oregon is seeking an Advanced Solar Field Service Technician (O&M) to perform on-site maintenance and repair of solar power plants in accordance with safety standards.

The role requires hands-on electrical and mechanical work, preventative and corrective maintenance, and the ability to work solo or in teams near Grants Pass while adhering to OSHA guidelines.

Travel up to 25% may be required; local candidates within 50 miles are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience in Commercial/Industrial O&M on solar power plants.
• Preventative Maintenance experience on Solar Utility equipment.
• Strong mechanical and electrical experience with troubleshooting and installation.
• Experience with Inverters, Tracker Systems, or Sub-Stations Equipment.
• Ability to train, mentor and develop laborers.
• Must live within approximately 50 miles of Grants Pass, Oregon.
• Must comply with OSHA safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct preventative and corrective maintenance of Solar Utility and Sub-Station equipment.
• Documentation including work orders, time logs, inventory control, and emergency schedules.
• Troubleshoot electrical components with meters and related tools.
• Test and troubleshoot solar equipment to ensure proper operation.
• Operate safely with Lock Out Tag Out and Job Hazard Analysis practices.
• Work solo or in a group and travel up to 25% as needed.
