Job summary

Pearce Renewables is seeking an Advanced Solar Field Service Technician (Operations and Maintenance) to perform on-site maintenance at solar plants near Hartford, CT. You will execute preventative and corrective maintenance, document work activities, and ensure equipment operates safely and effectively.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in solar O&M with strong mechanical and electrical skills, a solid safety background (LOTO/JHA), and the ability to travel up to 25% and work in varied

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in Commercial/Industrial O&M on solar power plants.
• Strong mechanical and electrical experience with troubleshooting and installation skills.
• Must have a strong safety background with LOTO and JHA experience.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% and work weekends/holidays if needed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct preventative and corrective maintenance on Solar Utility and Sub-Station equipment.
• Document work orders, time logs, inventory control, and emergency schedules.
• Troubleshoot electrical components with meters and related testing tools.
• Test solar equipment to ensure proper operation and safety.
