Job summary

PEARCE Renewables is seeking an Advanced Solar Field Service Technician to perform O&M on solar plants near Grants Pass, OR. You will operate and maintain solar equipment to ensure uninterrupted power delivery, while adhering to strict safety standards and company policies.

The role requires 2+ years of solar O&M experience, mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently or with a team.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in Commercial/Industrial O&M on solar power plants preferred.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience.
• Familiarity with solar equipment inverters, tracker systems or sub-stations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct preventative and corrective maintenance of Solar Utility and Sub-Station equipment.
• Documentation including work orders, time logs, inventory control, and emergency information schedules.
• Troubleshoot electrical components using DMMs, megger, and clamps.
• Test and troubleshoot installed solar equipment to ensure proper operation.
• Maintain safety standards with LOTO and JHA.
• Work solo or in a group environment.
• Operate and maintain a company vehicle per safety policies.
