CVS Health is seeking a Senior Manager - Software Development Engineering to lead a high-energy team driving digital modernization for Specialty Pharmacy. You will own multi-year roadmaps, collaborate across Strategy, Operations, Product and Technology, and mentor engineers while aligning technology with business goals.

The role emphasizes operational efficiency, scalable architecture, and a strategic approach to delivering value through diverse geographies and agile releases.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of overall Software Development experience using Agile.
• 5+ years with microservices in Python/Java Spring Boot.
• 3+ years leading distributed remote software teams.
• 3+ years containerization with Kubernetes and Docker.
• 2+ years cloud platforms (GCP preferred).
• 1+ years using AI frameworks and generative AI web services.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of Specialty pharmacy technology assets.
• Improve operational efficiency, time to market and product quality.
• Mentor engineering teams and manage performance.
• Partner with Business, Product and Technology to plan delivery roadmap.
• Coordinate onshore/offshore staffing with vendors.
• Drive long-term technology strategy aligned with healthcare trends.
• Travel up to 10% within the United States as needed.
