Job summary
CVS Health Specialty Pharmacy Engineering is seeking a hands-on Senior Manager of Software Development Engineering to lead a high-energy team driving digital modernization across specialty pharmacy products. You will partner with Strategy, Operations, and Product to plan, build, and deliver multi-year technology roadmaps and operational improvements.
You will mentor engineers across geographies, drive engineering best practices, and ensure timely delivery through Agile releases.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of software development experience with Agile methods.
- 5+ years building microservices in Python and Java/Spring Boot.
- 3+ years leading distributed, multi-site software teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead design and development of Specialty Pharmacy products and technology assets.
- Improve engineering practices to boost efficiency, time to market, and quality.
- Mentor engineering teams and manage talent across onshore and offshore partners.
- Drive multi-year modernization roadmap with business and product leaders.
- Travel up to 10% within the United States as needed.
