CVS Health is seeking a Senior Manager - Software Development Engineering to lead a diverse engineering team focused on Specialty Pharmacy modernization and operational efficiency. You will drive multi-year roadmaps with business, strategy, and product partners, delivering scalable software releases across geographies.

You will mentor engineers, shape best practices, and collaborate with vendors to build onshore and offshore teams.

Qualifications

7+ years of software development experience
5+ years building microservices (Python, Java Spring Boot)
3+ years leading distributed remote teams
3+ years with containerization (Kubernetes, Docker)
2+ years cloud platforms (GCP preferred)
1+ years AI frameworks and generative AI web services

Responsibilities

Lead design and development of Specialty Pharmacy tech assets
Improve engineering practices, ops efficiency, time to market and quality
Mentor engineering teams across multiple geographies
People management: hiring, performance, growth and coaching
Partner with Business, Product and Technology leaders to plan and deliver roadmaps
Coordinate onshore and offshore vendors to support staffing
Drive long-term technology strategy informed by healthcare trends
Travel up to 10% within the United States as needed
