Job summary

Salesforce seeks a seasoned software engineering leader to manage the IT Application Engineering and Operations team supporting Finance and HR systems. You will guide end-to-end delivery, mentor engineers, and partner with IT, Finance, and HR stakeholders to scale reliable platforms.

You’ll drive Agile adoption, CI/CD, and test automation while overseeing Workday integrations and multi-time-zone collaboration. Occasional travel is required as Salesforce continues to transform enterprise software.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of software engineering & operations experience with leadership.
• Experience in Finance/HR systems like Workday/PeopleSoft/Oracle EBS.
• Strong engineering management, team leadership and talent development.
• Experience with agile/scrum and vendor management.
• Experience with Workday integrations and multiple integration technologies.

Responsibilities

• Hire and retain top engineering talent.
• Lead and mentor a team of software engineers to deliver projects.
• Define project scopes, timelines, and resource requirements with cross-functional teams.
• Drive adoption of Agile, CI/CD, and best practices in software engineering.
• Oversee integration work with Workday Financials or Workday HCM.
• Communicate project status to stakeholders; travel as needed.
