Job summary

You will champion best practices, automation, and integration strategies, with occasional travel to partner sites and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in software engineering & operations, with leadership and project delivery in Finance and HR Systems such as Workday / Peoplesoft / Oracle EBS in end-to-end Hire to Retire or Finance processes
• Strong understanding of engineering management principles, including team leadership, performance management, and talent development
• Experience managing vendor partners and teams extended with contractors
• A keen eye for Innovation, Engineering / Operational Excellence, and Test Automation

Responsibilities

• Hire and retain top engineering talent.
• Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure successful delivery of projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scopes, timelines, and resource requirements.
• Drive the implementation and adoption of best practices in software engineering, including Agile methodologies and CI/CD.
• Champion the utilization of MuleSoft and Workday integration solutions for Workday Financials or Workday HCM to streamline processes.
• Oversee the development and execution of comprehensive test automation strategies for Integrations and Workday Financials or Workday HCM.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate project status updates effectively.
• Occasional travel is involved.
