Job summary

Salesforce seeks a talented, self-directed engineering leader to manage software engineers on IT Application Engineering and Operations. You will oversee end-to-end systems supporting Finance and HR (Employee Success) and collaborate across IT, Finance, and HR to scale and optimize Salesforce platforms.

You will hire and mentor senior engineers, drive Agile practices, and govern integrations with MuleSoft and Workday, ensuring high-quality software delivery for a global organization.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in software engineering and operations in Finance and HR systems such as Workday / Peoplesoft / Oracle EBS in end to end Hire to Retire or Finance business processes.
• Strong understanding of engineering management principles, including team leadership, performance management, and talent development.
• Experience in HR domain (Hire to Retire, Talent Foundations, Total Rewards, Global Time & Absence, Payroll) OR in Finance (Record to Report, Source to Pay, Plan to Perform) and experience with Workday integrations.

• Hire and retain top engineering talent.
• Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scopes, timelines, and resource requirements.
• Drive the implementation and adoption of best practices in software engineering, including Agile methodologies and continuous integration/delivery.
• Champion the utilization of MuleSoft and Workday integration solutions for Workday Financials or Workday HCM, leveraging its capabilities to streamline business processes and enhance efficiency.
• Oversee the development and execution of comprehensive test automation strategies for Integrations and Workday Financials or Workday HCM, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products.
