Job summary
Salesforce is seeking a seasoned engineering leader to manage software engineers on the IT Application Engineering and Operations team. You will drive end-to-end delivery of tools and integrations supporting Finance and HR systems, partnering with IT, Finance, and HR to scale and streamline processes.
You'll hire and mentor engineers, define project scopes, advocate CI/CD and Agile practices, and guide integrations using MuleSoft and Workday, with a focus on test automation and stakeholder
Qualifications
- 12+ years of software engineering and operations experience in Finance and HR systems.
- Strong leadership, performance management, and talent development track record.
- Experience managing vendor partners and contractors across time zones.
- Expertise in agile/scrum, test automation, and CI/CD practices.
- Experience with Workday HCM/Financials or comparable enterprise deployments.
Responsibilities
- Hire and retain top engineering talent.
- Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, guiding project delivery.
- Define project scopes, timelines, and resource requirements.
- Drive best practices in software engineering, Agile, and CI/CD.
- Champion MuleSoft and Workday integrations for Finance/HR systems.
- Oversee test automation for integrations and Workday workflows.
- Communicate project status to stakeholders; travel occasionally.
