Job summary

Serco is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to support a USAF program at Tinker AFB, OK. The role focuses on research, design, integration, and sustainment of avionics and electrical systems for aeronautical platforms.

The position requires an active TS/SCI-eligible clearance, ABET-accredited degrees with extensive DoD experience, and travel up to 10% CONUS. SERCO offers a comprehensive benefits package and a strong defense-industry footprint.

Qualifications

Active DoW Top Secret clearance with TS/SCI eligibility is required.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering from ABET-accredited program with 12+ years DoD-related experience.
Or Master’s degree in a relevant discipline with a Bachelor’s in Electrical/Electronics Engineering and 10+ years DoD-related experience.
Minimum of 3 years SAP experience within the last 8 years.
Ability to travel up to 10% (CONUS).

Responsibilities

Perform research, development, testing, evaluation, operation, and maintenance of electrical devices/systems on aeronautical vehicle systems and related avionics.
Serve as the technical expert and provide guidance to leadership on sustaining engineering.
Develop and review system electrical/electronic design baselines and interoperability requirements.
Translate user requirements into system requirements for electrical/electronic subsystems and equipment.
Provide integration support for acquisition, development, sustainment, and verification of systems and software.
