Job summary

Serco Inc. seeks a Senior Level Software Engineer to support AFLCMC/WAG at Tinker AFB, OK. You will design, develop, test, and evaluate software for weapon systems and critical equipment, ensuring readiness and compliance.

The role demands hands-on development, system analyses, and contractor oversight, with an active TOP-SECRET clearance and SCI/SAP access. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Active TOP-SECRET clearance or ability to obtain SCI/SAP access
• Hands-on software development or analysis experience in DoD programs
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline with 10+ or 15+ years DoD experience
• Travel up to 10% (CONUS)

Responsibilities

• Develop software engineering strategies supporting acquisition, development, and sustainment of software for weapon systems
• Translate user requirements into system requirements for design, development, and test
• Conduct assessments of DoD contractor software deliveries for aircraft and test equipment
• Review system design, software architecture, and interoperability requirements
