Job summary

Qualifications

• Active TOP-SECRET clearance with SCI/SAP eligibility.
• MS in engineering with 10+ years DoD experience.
• Or BS in engineering with 15+ years DoD experience.
• Minimum of 3 years SAP experience in last 8 years.
• Recent hands-on software development or analysis.
• Ability to travel up to 10% CONUS.

Responsibilities

• Develop software engineering strategies for weapon systems and related software.
• Translate user requirements into system requirements for software design and testing.
• Assess DoD contractor software deliveries for aircraft and test equipment.
• Analyze software performance deficiencies and suggest corrective actions.
• Audit DoD contractors for software configuration and quality accreditation.
• Evaluate proposed design changes and perform trade studies.
• Review system design software architecture and interoperability.
• Evaluate test plans and participate in system, subsystem, and component testing.
• Support development and review of program and contract documentation.
• Conduct technical evaluations of contractor proposals and risks.
