Job summary

Serco Inc. is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to support AFLCMC/WAG at Tinker AFB, OK. Role involves electrical/electronic design, development, testing, and sustainment of aeronautical systems and avionics, with focus on integration and interoperability.

The candidate should hold an active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI/SAP eligibility, ABET-accredited engineering degrees (B.S. or M.S.) and significant DoD experience, including SAP exposure and travel readiness up to 10% CONUS.

Qualifications

Active DoD Top Secret clearance; SCI/SAP eligibility.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering from ABET-accredited program with 12+ years in DoD/government roles.
Master’s degree plus ABET degree and 10+ years in DoD/DoD contractor roles.
Minimum of 3 years SAP experience within the last 8 years.
Ability to travel up to 10% (CONUS).

Responsibilities

Support electrical/electronic design, development, testing and sustainment of aeronautical vehicle systems and avionics.
Serve as technical expert and advise leadership on sustaining engineering issues.
Translate user requirements into system requirements for software, electrical and electronics.
Provide integration support for acquisition/sustainment and verify systems and software.
Review test plans and participate in system/subsystem/component testing.
Contribute to technical evaluations, risk assessments, and mitigation plans.
