Job summary
Serco Inc. is seeking a SME Software Engineer to support the AFLCMC/WAG Special Programs Division at Wright Patterson AFB, OH.
The role requires maintaining a Top-Secret security clearance with SCI access and involves advancing DoD software engineering across CI/CD environments. You will evaluate contractor software designs, perform systems analyses, and help transition to modern DevSecOps practices while coordinating with government representatives and program offices.
Qualifications
- Active Top-Secret clearance with SCI/SAP access
- Masters degree in engineering with 20+ years DoD experience
- Minimum 3 years SAP or SCI experience within the last 5 years
- Ability to travel up to 10% (CONUS)
Responsibilities
- Oversee software architecture for CI/CD pipelines and prime contractor teams
- Assess interfaces between software, firmware and hardware
- Lead software-centric reviews and transition to CI/CD methodologies
- Apply MBSE to translate requirements into contract system documents
- Analyze software performance and recommend corrective actions
- Interface with vendors and Government representatives on software activities
