Job summary

Vynca is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead development of scalable, secure healthcare tech solutions. You will provide technical leadership, mentor engineers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful products that improve patient care. Remote role with Pacific Coast business hours (PST).

You will design real-time data pipelines, implement event-driven architectures, and drive cloud-native, API-driven services with a focus on performance and resilience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5–7 years in software engineering.
• Proficiency in Python and Java with modern frameworks.
• Mastery of event-driven architectures and distributed systems.
• Strong background in building scalable, real-time data pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with healthcare data standards (FHIR, CCDA, HL7).
• Database design and data warehousing with cloud platforms.
• Proven cost and performance optimization in cloud infra.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical direction and architecture for scalable healthcare tech.
• Own end-to-end delivery of mission-critical products from concept to deployment.
• Design real-time data pipelines and hybrid batch/stream systems.
• Develop API-driven services with versioning and backward compatibility.
• Improve system performance, observability, and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with product and stakeholders, and mentor engineers.
