Job summary

Vynca is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead development of scalable, secure healthcare technology. You will guide cross-functional teams, mentor engineers, and advance patient care outcomes through technology.

The role is remote with Pacific Coast business hours (PST) and involves architectural leadership, real-time data pipelines, and cloud-native solutions on AWS/Kubernetes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 5–7 years in software engineering.
• Proficiency in Python and Java with Flask/FastAPI and Spring Boot.
• Mastery of event-driven architectures (Kafka, Kinesis) and cloud platforms (AWS, Kubernetes).
• Strong background in building real-time data pipelines (Kafka, Flink, Airflow) and hybrid batch/stream systems.
• Hands-on experience with healthcare data standards (FHIR, CCDA, HL7) and data warehousing (Redshift/BigQuery/Snowflake).

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and lead development of scalable, high-performance systems.
• Own end-to-end delivery of mission-critical products from concept to deployment.
• Design real-time data pipelines and hybrid batch/stream architectures.
• Build API-driven microservices with versioning and backward compatibility.
• Improve performance, reduce latency, and optimize costs.
• Lead migration/modernization efforts and cloud-native resilience.
