Job summary

Vynca is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead the development of scalable healthcare technology solutions. You will provide technical leadership across key projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and mentor engineers to uphold high technical standards. This role is remote with Pacific Coast business hours (PST).

You will design real-time data pipelines, microservices, and cloud-native solutions on AWS and Kubernetes to improve patient care and outcomes through technology.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
• 5–7 years in software engineering.
• Proficiency in Python and Java with Flask/FastAPI, Spring Boot experience.
• Mastery of event-driven architectures (Kafka, Kinesis) and cloud platforms (AWS, Kubernetes).
• Strong background building scalable, real-time data pipelines (Kafka, Flink, Airflow).
• Hands-on experience with healthcare data standards (FHIR, CCDA, HL7) and data warehousing (Redshift, BigQuery).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills; comfortable navigating ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of scalable, secure healthcare tech solutions across key projects.
• Mentor engineers and drive technical standards, CI/CD, and observability.
• Own end-to-end delivery of mission-critical products with real-time data pipelines.
• Design cloud-native, resilient architectures on AWS and Kubernetes.
• Collaborate with product and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
