Verint Systems, Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to own the design, development and deployment of cloud-based platforms and applications.

You will work with a global team to deliver robust, scalable solutions following CI/CD practices. The role requires leadership, mentoring, and deep expertise in Java, microservices, and database technologies, with strong collaboration to meet business objectives and ensure quality.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or software engineering.
• 5 years' experience in design and programming large scale applications through all SDLC phases.
• Proven track record of end-to-end delivery of complex features.
• 2 years mentoring mid to entry level engineers and influencing technical direction.
• Strong proficiency in Java (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, JPA/Hibernate).
• RESTful API design, OAuth 2.0/JWT, and microservices patterns.
• Strong working knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MS SQL, Oracle); NoSQL stores (Redis, Elasticsearch, MongoDB).
• 3 years experience consuming LLM APIs, prompt engineering, or integrating AI-powered features into production workflows.
• Strong debugging skills of performance/memory leaks/crash/multi-threaded/algorithms.
• 3 years experience with source control tools (GIT, SVN).
• 3 years experience with containerized runtime environments: Docker, Kubernetes.
• 3 years experience with compiling and CI tools like Eclipse/IntelliJ, Visual Studio, Maven, Jenkins, Artifactory or other CI/build tools.
• Excellent teamwork, self-learner and self-managed.
• Strong interpersonal skills, high communication skills.
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication in English.

Mansioni

• Ongoing evaluation (test) of feature design – identify issues or risk areas with architecture and performance.
• Distill requirements from feature level into implementation tasks.
• Develop features using best practices and ensure alignment with product architecture.
• Ensure product quality through unit tests, automation, throughput and security considerations.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to less experienced engineers.
• Take responsibility for technical implementation and delivery of features.
• Guide documentation and onboarding to help new team members.
