Job summary

Verint Systems Inc. in the United States seeks a Senior Architect to lead the technical roadmap for cloud-based platforms and applications.

You will design, develop, test, publish, and support product lines, working with a global team to implement scalable, secure solutions using CI/CD and modern architectures. You will mentor engineers, drive API strategies, evaluate technologies, and ensure alignment with product goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years experience in software design and development with architecture/leadership for complex SaaS products.
• 5+ years with Cloud-native architecture and data pipelines using Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Apache Kafka, Zookeeper, Redis, or similar technologies.
• 5+ years with relational and NoSQL databases (Postgres, DynamoDB, and others).
• Familiarity with monitoring, logging tools like Datadog.
• 5+ years leading full-stack development across backend APIs, frontend, and ops for scalable SaaS.

Responsibilities

• Drive cloud-native architecture and implement best practices for software development.
• Provide technical leadership to development team members.
• Drive the technical architecture, design, and development of various product lines.
• Drive continuous integration and delivery of product using test-driven development.
• Communicate designs and architectures to audiences with varying levels of detail.
• Maintain awareness of new technologies and forward-looking improvements.
• Apply SOA and Microservices to architect scalable cloud services.
• Ensure adherence to architectural vision and product goals.
• Mentor senior engineers on best practices and decision making.
• Collaborate with Product Management to translate requirements into roadmaps.
• Define and govern API strategy, standards, and contracts.
• Evaluate third-party tools and technologies to support needs.
• Drive security-by-design including threat modeling and secure coding.
• Own technical debt strategy and roadmapping across the platform.
• Drive capacity planning and performance budgets for cloud services.
• Maintain ADRs, RFCs, and system diagrams (e.g., C4).
• Contribute cloud cost optimization balancing performance and cost.
• Participate in P1 incidents and escalations with architecture guidance.
