Job summary

Verint is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to lead and guide the CRTS product team. You will architect, develop, and optimize large-scale cloud deployments and ensure quality across distributed engineering efforts.

You will mentor engineers, drive best practices in API and event-driven design, and collaborate with customers to resolve production issues while advancing the product roadmap.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of enterprise-scale architecture, design and development experience.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, information technology or equivalent experience.
• 7 years experience with Go and Java.
• 5 years experience with Pulsar, NATS, Valkey or similar tech.
• 5 years experience in cloud-based product development, microservices, API and event-driven development.
• 5 years experience with SDLC and agile/iterative methodologies; developer mindset.
• 4 years experience with container tech (Docker, Kubernetes, Istio, Keda).
• 5 years experience with AWS (S3, EKS, Bedrock) and other cloud providers.

Responsibilities

• Develop, troubleshoot and guide the CRTS product teams with technical leadership.
• Influence design and architecture of major software components.
• Produce documentation to ensure scalability and reusability across the app.
• Mentor engineers on design techniques, test automation and coding standards.
• Collaborate across time zones in a globally distributed environment.
• Champion product quality, customer-centric thinking and technical excellence.
• Lead R&D to evolve the product and explore new technologies.
• Communicate with customers and stakeholders to resolve production issues.

Education

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or relevant field or equivalent experience
