Verint Systems, Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead development of cloud-based platforms and applications. This hands-on role focuses on design, testing, deployment, and supporting global customer implementations, with guidance to improve processes and technology across teams.

The candidate will work with a global engineering team following CI/CD practices, mentoring peers and driving architectural improvements for scalable, secure solutions.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science / software engineering (or similar).
• 5 years' experience in design and programming large scale applications through all phases of the software development life cycle including testing, implementation and auditing.
• Proven track record of delivery of complex features end-to-end.
• 2 years experience mentoring mid to entry level engineers within a cross-functional squad.
• Strong proficiency in Java and Spring family technologies.
• Solid RESTful API design, OAuth 2.0/JWT, and microservices patterns.
• Relational DBs (PostgreSQL, MS SQL, Oracle) and NoSQL exposure (Redis, Elasticsearch, MongoDB).
• 3 years experience consuming LLM APIs and integrating AI features.
• Strong debugging skills for performance/memory leaks and multithreading.
• 3 years experience with Git/SVN and containerized runtimes (Docker, Kubernetes).
• 3 years experience with CI tools and IDEs (Eclipse/IntelliJ, VS, Maven, Jenkins).
• Excellent teamwork, self-learner, and clear English communication.

• Ongoing evaluation (test) of feature design and identify risk areas in architecture and performance.
• Distill requirements from feature level to actionable tasks.
• Develop features using best practices matching product architecture.
• Ensure unit tests, automation, throughput, security and performance targets are met.
• Guide design to meet operations, deployment, and sustainability needs.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor team members.
• Take responsibility for feature delivery and decision making.
• Review docs and guide junior engineers to onboard effectively.
• Communicate risks to stakeholders and leadership as needed.
