Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience and shipped software ownership.
• Strong production coding capability; design, implement, test, debug, and maintain apps.
• Google Cloud Platform experience with deployed services.
• Ability to learn across languages; prior Elixir experience not required but quick learning expected.
• Experience building internal tools, automations, or integrations for business or operational users.
• Proactive, self-starting approach with product and entrepreneurial judgment.
• Big-picture thinking; connect local improvements to wider goals; maintain reliability and security.

Responsibilities

• Discover needs by observing workflows and identify friction points.
• Prioritize quick wins; assess impact, effort, and risk, and propose solutions.
• Build iteratively with users; gather feedback and refine solutions.
• Own Operations applications; maintain tools, dashboards, and integrations; diagnose issues.
• Develop across our stack; ramp up on Elixir-heavy core; deploy on Google Cloud.
• Review Al-generated code; ensure security, reliability, and proper testing.
• Drive cross-functional execution; align teams on needs, ownership, and dependencies.
• Champion practical Al adoption and safe, repeatable workflows.
• Support launched tools and ensure durable improvements.
