Job summary

Serve Robotics Inc. is seeking a proactive software engineer embedded with Operations to improve robotic delivery tooling and workflows. You will own internal apps, build across our stack (Elixir-heavy core, GCP), and connect everyday friction to the bigger delivery-quality goals.

You will work with Operations, Product Engineering, and other teams to ship practical tooling, review AI-generated code, and ensure safety and reliability as the system scales in dynamic urban environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with shipped software.
• Strong production coding capability across languages.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Willingness to learn Elixir and contribute to an Elixir-heavy core system.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Operations and Product teams.
• Proactive, product-minded, ownership-driven engineer.

Responsibilities

• Discover needs with Operations, identify pain points, and propose improvements.
• Prioritize and deliver quick, useful wins aligned with operational goals.
• Build iteratively with users, gather feedback, and refine solutions.
• Own internal Operations tools, dashboards, automations, and integrations.
• Develop across our stack, learn Elixir, deploy and support applications on GCP.
• Bring discipline to AI-built software: review code, test, and ensure reliability.
• Drive cross-functional execution and manage dependencies across teams.
• Champion practical AI adoption and safe, repeatable practices.
• Stay accountable after launch and ensure durable fixes.
