Job summary

Amazon Robotics is hiring a Software Development Engineer I in Massachusetts to own the entire lifecycle of code from design to deployment. You will work on scalable, cloud-native services and contribute to robotics, computer vision, and fulfillment technologies at scale.

You will collaborate with Amazonians across disciplines, participate in code reviews, and drive operational excellence in an environment focused on fast, weekly release cycles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• Experience with at least one general-purpose programming language (Java, Python, C++, C#, Go, Rust, or TypeScript).
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and OO design.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to design, build, and operate innovative products and services.
• Design and develop scalable cloud-native solutions and microservices.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical documentation.
• Build and maintain resilient distributed systems that are scalable and cost-effective.
• Leverage GenAI/AI-powered tools to enhance development productivity.
• Write clean, maintainable code following best practices.
• Work in an agile environment with CI/CD and on-call responsibilities.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues.
• Design, develop, and test components interfacing with robotics and fulfillment tech.
