Cut+Dry is a fast-growing FoodTech startup revolutionizing the US food supply by connecting foodservice distributors, customers, and suppliers on a single platform. In this role, you will build features and enhance apps for distributors and restaurant operators, leveraging AI-driven development to boost velocity, quality, and innovation.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will collaborate with engineers, product managers, and executives, and may interact directly with customers to see your work

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or 4–5 years of relevant developer experience.
• 3+ years building high-performance, scalable applications in an agile environment.
• Expert-level proficiency in leveraging AI workflows (LLMs, prompt engineering for code, or AI-integrated IDEs).
• Extensive hands-on experience in modern programming languages: Java, JavaScript, PHP, React, Python, Graphql, MySQL.
• Strong experience building and deploying applications on cloud platforms such as AWS.
• Fluency in DevOps, including CI/CD, containerization, and infrastructure as code.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality code to meet product requirements.
• Integrate AI-assisted coding tools to accelerate cycles and improve quality.
• Write effective technical user stories and ensure performance and scalability.
• Resolve defects and manage technical debt with AI-assisted refactoring.
• Practice DevOps methods like CI/CD and SDLC automation.
• Identify opportunities to implement AI features to enhance user experience.
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and paired programming.
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies to strengthen development practices.
