Foodsmart is hiring a Senior Engineering Manager to lead and grow an engineering organization of about 16 engineers. You will set technical direction, drive AI-native development, and partner with product and design to translate roadmap priorities into scalable systems.
You will own four AI pods, ensure delivery, quality, and velocity, and mentor engineers across the org. We seek a hands-on leader with 10+ years in software engineering, 5+ years managing teams, and strong experience in AI-first
Qualifications
- 10+ years of software engineering experience.
- 5+ years managing engineering teams in startup or high-growth environments.
- Experience leading AI-native development initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Lead AI-native development across four pods end to end.
- Define technical direction and architecture reviews for stack.
- Mentor engineers and build technical leadership across the org.
- Balance speed with risk, align engineering work to business impact.
- Communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
