Job summary

Cut+Dry is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in the United States to build AI-enhanced, scalable software for food distributors and restaurants. You will collaborate with product, marketing, and executive teams to deliver high‑quality code and user‑facing features.

You will integrate AI tooling, focus on performance and resilience, and help shape our DevOps culture while shipping improvements users can see in production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or 4-5 years of relevant developer experience.

Responsibilities

• Works closely with the product team to develop high‑quality code to meet product requirements.
• Integrates AI‑assisted coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor) to accelerate development cycles and improve code quality.
• Writes effective technical user stories and ensures non‑functional requirements like performance and scaling are met.
• Actively resolves defects and manages technical debt while leveraging AI for automated bug detection and refactoring.
• Practices DevOps methods like CI/CD, SDLC automation, and proactive monitoring.
• Identifies opportunities to implement LLMs or AI features within our platform to enhance the user experience for distributors and restaurants.
• Participates in code reviews, design discussions, and paired programming.
• Evaluates emerging AI technologies continually to identify trends and best practices to strengthen Cut+Dry development practices.
