Job summary

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software engineering experience with end-to-end ownership through launch and operations.
• Able to work in ambiguity and balance speed with engineering judgment.
• Bias toward simplicity in a lean, high-bar engineering culture.
• Experience leveraging AI to improve code quality and velocity.
• Strong systems thinking across cloud infra and data platforms.
• Comfortable communicating with non-engineering stakeholders and auditors.

Responsibilities

• Own bank systems end-to-end: design, build, integrate, operate, and own incident response for core banking surfaces.
• Set and improve code review and design standards; elevate examiner-readable docs.
• Ship AI-first capabilities; leverage agentic workflows to enhance delivery and operations.
• Own vendor relationships end-to-end: integration, operations, escalation, and audit.
• Document decisions and runbooks to withstand examiner and audit review.
• Maintain operational posture with monitoring, runbooks, and audit-ready practices.
• Communicate technical strategy clearly to executives, risk, compliance, and other engineers.
• Mentor junior engineers and help grow the team.
