Job summary

Rubrik is hiring a Senior Manager to lead our Security Operations Center (SOC), including our FedRAMP-authorized environment. You will advance detection, incident response, and overall SOC strategy with a focus on AI-enabled capabilities.

You'll work with Threat Operations, Security Engineering, and executive leadership, owning 24/7 coverage, driving MTTD/MTTR improvements, and ensuring compliance across environments. This role requires strong leadership and U.S. citizenship.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in security operations or related field.
• Experience as Incident Manager leading investigations.
• Experience building or maturing a SOC operating model: 24/7 coverage, playbooks, escalation processes.
• Strong SIEM/SOAR expertise and attacker tactics (MITRE ATT&CK).
• FedRAMP experience and U.S. citizenship are important.
• Ability to lead AI/ML-driven security tooling initiatives.
• Strong communication with executive leadership.

Responsibilities

• Direct 24/7 monitoring coverage across shifts and regions.
• Serve as Incident Manager for major security incidents and coordinate across teams.
• Drive continuous improvement of SOC processes, playbooks, and escalation procedures.
• Own AI-enabled SOC roadmap: triage, investigation support, and automation.
• Lead FedRAMP-related detection, incident response, and governance.
• Track metrics (MTTD, MTTR, coverage) and optimize SOC staffing and budget.
