Job summary

Rubrik is seeking a Senior Manager to lead the Security Operations Center, including our FedRAMP-authorized environment. You will own 24/7 monitoring, incident response, and AI-enabled detection and tooling, driving maturing of processes while aligning with FedRAMP controls and executive reporting.

You will manage SOC analysts across commercial and FedRAMP teams, shape strategy for AI in the SOC, and partner with Threat Operations and Security Engineering to close detection gaps and improve

Qualifications

• 8+ years in security operations or related field, incl. SOC leadership or senior role.
• Experience as Incident Manager coordinating across teams under pressure.
• Experience maturing SOC operating model: 24/7 coverage, playbooks and escalation.
• Hands-on detection and response with SIEM/SOAR and MITRE ATT&CK.
• Experience defining and reporting SOC metrics to technical and executive audiences.
• Experience with FedRAMP, SOC 2, ISO 27001 or similar; FedRAMP experience is a strong plus.
• Strong communication skills for executive briefings.
• Must be a U.S. citizen for FedRAMP responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead 24/7 monitoring and ensure consistent coverage across shifts and regions.
• Serve as Incident Manager for major security incidents and coordinate across InfoSec teams.
• Drive continuous improvement of SOC processes, including playbooks and escalation procedures.
• Ensure incident response aligns with FedRAMP requirements.
• Own AI-enabled SOC roadmap: triage, investigation support, automation.
• Evaluate and roll out AI SOC tools with Threat Operations and Security Engineering.
• Report SOC performance and posture to CISO and executives.
• Support FedRAMP and other security audits and maintain compliance reporting.
