Job summary

Rubrik is hiring a Senior Manager to lead our Security Operations Center, including our FedRAMP-authorized environment. This role owns incident response, detection, and monitoring, with a focus on expanding AI-enabled capabilities and improving overall security maturity.

You will oversee 24/7 monitoring, coordinate major incidents, and drive continuous improvements in playbooks and escalation. Strong leadership, communication, and FedRAMP experience are essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in security operations or incident response, with SOC leadership.
• Experience as Incident Manager coordinating across teams.
• Experience maturing a 24/7 SOC with playbooks and escalation.
• Hands-on detection and response with SIEM/SOAR and ATT&CK.
• Experience hiring, mentoring, and developing SOC staff.
• Proven SOC metrics reporting to technical and exec audiences.
• Experience with FedRAMP, SOC 2, ISO 27001 compliance.
• Strong communication with executive leadership.
• U.S. citizenship required for FedRAMP.

Responsibilities

• Direct 24/7 monitoring and ensure coverage across shifts/regions.
• Serve as Incident Manager for major security incidents.
• Drive SOC process improvements: playbooks, runbooks, escalation.
• Enable AI SOC tooling and strategy; pilot AI-enabled capabilities.
• Oversee 24/7 detection coverage expansion across cloud/SaaS/on-prem/FedRAMP.
• Stakeholder communication to CISO and executives.
• Budgeting, staffing, and operating model for the SOC.
